Vinnytsia Honors Its Heroes
On August 29, the Day of Remembrance for the Defenders of Ukraine, Vinnytsia came together for a motorcade in honor of those who gave their lives for our freedom.
A procession of cars adorned with blue-and-yellow flags, photographs, and the call signs of the fallen heroes drove through the city streets. A stop on the Central Bridge was particularly symbolic, where participants lit flares in memory of the fallen.
The motorcade concluded at the Walk of Fame at the Sabariv Cemetery—near the final resting place of Ukraine’s defenders.
Andriy Sinyavsky, head of the “I Want to Live” Charitable Foundation, joined the event. Every day, the charitable foundation supports military personnel, the families of Defenders, and those in need, and participates in events aimed at preserving the memory of fallen heroes.
We remember each and every one. We honor each and every one.
Because Ukraine’s freedom comes at the highest price—the lives of our heroes.
