A defender of Ukraine from the Bershad community has returned home for good…
On September 1, the village of Ustya bid farewell to Mykhailo Krasylenko—a young soldier who volunteered to defend Ukraine and served in the ranks of the 79th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade.
Mykhailo bravely defended his homeland, never abandoned his comrades, and even returned to the front lines after being wounded. The hero died in January 2024.
The “I Want to Live” Charitable Foundation and its director, Andriy Sinyavsky, accompanied the hero on his final journey home. Every time a defender returns home on a shield, it is a source of pain for the family that has been waiting for their loved one. We share in every loss and support the families as much as we can. It is our duty to help bring the hero home with dignity and see him off on his final journey.
Mykhailo Krasylenko is home forever.
Eternal memory and glory to the Hero of Ukraine.
Our sincere condolences to his family, loved ones, comrades, and the entire Bershad community.
Heroes never die
