In Kryvyi Rih, a funeral was held for Ivan Oleksandrovych Bondarenko, a defender of Ukraine.

Ivan was 31 years old. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2023 and served in the 33rd Separate Engineer Regiment of the Airborne Forces. On July 10, 2026, while carrying out a combat mission in the Dobropillia area of Donetsk Oblast, the soldier’s life was cut short by an enemy FPV drone.

In civilian life, Ivan worked at the “Dough Factory” enterprise. Together with his wife, he raised three children.

After more than two months of waiting, the family received confirmation of the Defender’s death.

The “I Want to Live” Charitable Foundation, including its director Andriy Viktorovych Sinyavsky, accompanied the Hero’s remains.
